Specifications
The Cement Council of Texas has been working closely with the
Texas Department of Transportation to update and re-write many
of the
agency's
standard
specifications for its 2003 Standard Specifications publication,
slated to publish early 2004.
Specifically, the CCT has made several recommendations for revisions
to TxDOT's Item 275, Portland Cement Treated Materials (Road Mixed).
This is the primary specification used by TxDOT engineers for the
design and construction of full-depth recycling (FDR) with cement
and other soil-cement processes.
We are pleased that TxDOT has accepted many of our recommendations
for its revised specification publication.
Below is the approved and revised Item 275 slated for publications
in TxDOT' s 2003 Standard Specifications in early 2004.
We have also collected specifications from Texas Councils of Government,
counties and municipalities. If you have a specification you would
